The Good People
I was listening to a song this morning called ‘The Good People’ by Jack Johnson and the chorus went like this:
“...Where did all the good people go? I’ve been changing channels and I don’t see them on the TV shows. Where did all the good people go? We’ve got heaps and heaps of what we sow...”
Mother Teresa
It reminded me of the time, a few years back, when Mother Teresa was catching the world’s eye as she was collecting the dying from the streets, bringing them into places of sanctuary where she and the Sisters of Charity would love and care for them and help the poor people die with dignity. She did many other good deeds which no one else would touch, like lift babies out of bins, set up orphanages and generally care for everyone no matter how ill, how beyond treatment they were, how rejected they were in society, no matter what religion they were. She didn’t let her ‘self’ get in the way. Her work was difficult, even sickening but the spirit of love in her was victorious over her ‘self’ and it won through to bring Jesus and the Love of God into the slums of Calcutta and beyond.
Interestingly, Mother Teresa left her convent and started doing this work on her own and so many came, attracted to the Light of God within her, and followed her example. She was simply responding to an interior Command from Jesus. Her story in particular is a living proof that it only takes one person, with Jesus, to do what He asks and that can change the world.
Pope John Paul II
Meanwhile, our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II was constantly in the spotlight too. He was always on the trot around the world and always on the TV. He worked tirelessly bringing a wealth of encouragement to the countries he visited, canonised Saints to enforce a powerful message - that holiness can easily be attained by all - it’s easier than we think. He wanted Catholics to evangelise in their everyday lives and he was showing us how to do it by doing it himself. I believe that with his death a part of the Church, the heart, the enthusiasm, the gusto, died with him, or did it?
We will bring light
“My children, My Heart, this day is in dire need. I need many who will step out and not deny Me in their lives, who will stop living lives that are attached more to this world than to Me. I am calling many to become saints by their lives…I need many of you to stand up for Me in this world and spread My Word without complacency and without fear… I am appealing to the world to let this seed be spread and that many will give up their lives for Me in these times. I do not mean in death but in life. …Come follow Me, follow Me into the darkness of mankind and together We will bring light, My Light.” Thursday 11 March 1999
When I read this Message, I was reminded that Jesus still desires many Mother Teresas and John Pauls! And He still wants me and you to be a stalwart saint that overcomes self in favour of Him. He asks us in the Message not to die for Him but to live for Him, to give Him our lives so that many others may live for eternity.
Lovers of the Sacred Heart
As the priests diminish, the convents close, there are less Masses, less sacrifices, more abortions, more evil, more darkness, then we - as lovers of the Sacred Heart - are duty bound to try and produce more light in this world. We have a greater responsibility to make up for others. So many scream out for Jesus, they are all around us and we need to make ourselves known to them so that they can come to us and find Him.
“...In these Words, I call many to My Way once again for I wish to flood the world with the Way of My Sacred Heart. At this time, it should be pulsing My Life into many places but not many see its potential. Imagine, My servant, the days when I bring many priests, nourished on Truth, out from My Houses to deliver the Truth all over this world. So too, the daughters of the Way of My Sacred Heart to create a revolution of Love everywhere they go. The brothers of the Way of My Sacred Heart, shall work with their hands and pray with deep spirits that pray from the heart and they and their sisters will do again as the brothers and sisters of Francis did. My Heart is truly sore because this has not yet begun. That is why I call many to My Side. They do not come. ...I have called many in their hearts to bend towards Me but they will not. The world is too strong because the Truth is diminished. The call of the world is furnished by lucifer and he uses the glitter that many cannot see through.
Many, in their hearts, have considered walking this Way but the world has torn them from Me. They recognise not the call of the Shepherd...” Tuesday 7 December 2004
Where am I?
Jack Johnson and Jesus are both asking where have all the good people gone, the answer lies with you and me - where am I?

Jesus:
Yes, My son, begin this fight but do it in Truth for discipline will bring My House back into what I wish it to be. Discipline trains the body and soul to follow Me in Truth. Without discipline you cannot fight against self. You must learn to discipline the body for this is the desire of the soul and this is true dying to self. It takes discipline to fast, to pray and to deny self these are all parts of discipline and without it you will never truly find Me, you will simply find the desires of self. Can you understand these things that I have been drawing you towards? Can you see now what I have been asking of you? You must continue this fight in order to do what I ask of you. I Love you.
Patrick:
Thank You, Jesus, I love You.

For those who worked in Slovenia on this date
Do not worry, My son, it is I who guide you here. All is well. Continue as I inspire you and you will do well. These windows need replaced and soon for there is no more life in them, they have served their purpose. Do only the worst ones for now. You may call My two sons 1 over to replace this pipe but they must be obedient to My Will in this and how they live here. Thank you, My children, for being here to do My Will. Open your hearts to Me and be obedient to My Will. I Bless the little ones 2 with My Cross on their foreheads and I Bless the Work.
1 Not the two Patricks, two volunteers.
2 The children who were there.
The Way of Truth
Monday 25 August 2008
Introduction:
I have found over these past few years it is getting harder and harder to follow Jesus in truth. I find myself slipping into the world and its ways, although I do not want to, it seems to be happening, it is as if I am on a slippery slope and no matter how hard I try to climb the slope I am sliding backwards. I have felt Jesus calling me to write so that He can help me and you to find a path back to Him. I know it is the times that we now live in: that is the slippery slope. That brings to mind a piece of Scripture; If the time had not been shortened not even the elect would have survived (And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. Matthew 24:22)
I know if things continue the way that they are, very few of us will survive this time for it would be so easy to get swept away in the current of this world.
Even within our churches and at Mass there is no refuge for so many priests preach a gospel of self, we can say that it does not effect us but, yes, it does. It is like dripping water on stone, eventually it will make a hole and cut through it. These false doctrines are the things that self wants to hear and gradually, through time, we will fall to them, if we are not strong enough. In these Words that Jesus will speak to us, I know He means to try and give us a foothold on the slope so that we will be able to fight through the ‘grease’ of this world and into the safety of His outstretched Arms.
We know that we must fight our way towards Jesus, He can only help us to a certain degree. We must prove to Him, in our free will, that we truly want Him and His Ways. We can say that it is unfair that we must do this but, in His Love, He has given us free will and does not want to force us to follow Him; He wants us to make that decision totally in our own free will. So, we must fight against sin and the desires of self that lead us away from Jesus and eventually into the flames of hell.
hell is the place that the world denies the existence of for when we remove hell from the equation then we remove lucifer and so we can do whatever we please because God is an all-Merciful God and the only place is Heaven.
I have heard even priests saying that they do not believe in hell! How foolish can humans really become? Our Lady in Fatima showed the children a vision of hell and said that the amount of people that were going there every day was like a shower of snowflakes. So many of us are being lost by our own complacency and laziness of not wanting to fight for the Truth for we know it is the truth, even though we try to deny it within ourselves. I know that in my younger years, I denied the truth of God. I laughed at my mother and her holy friends when they tried to tell me about God.
Looking back now, I knew what they were saying was true but, in truth, I did not want to know because it did not suit the life that I was living and made me feel guilty and so I became angry and abusive. When we look around that is what this world is now, angry and abusive. Everyone has become so angry and abusive with each other. For example, on the roads, in the shops, in sport, everywhere! I have even seen arguments start as people come out of the car park after Mass. What a world we are now living in! Yet, we live in it and try to ignore the truth that is within all of our hearts. We prefer to live these lives of denial with no peace in order to hold on to our selfishness and untruth.
I pray and hope that these Words that Jesus will speak to us will cut through our selfishness and open our hearts to the Dream of Jesus for it is my greatest desire to see His Dream fulfilled. I know many of you are like me and are finding it so difficult in these times we live in. Let’s take these Words that our Master will speak and show this world that He is Alive and that He is Coming soon.
Chapter 1
The Complacency of Self
Patrick:
Jesus, will You help me in this? I wish to come back to You; I wish to regain my strength in order to follow You in the truth. I am willing to give up all work and stay with You to simply listen. I feel as though I have lost so much; the world is encroaching at an ever increasing rate and it is so hard to concentrate on You. But I know if I get close to You I will be able to see clearly once again.
Jesus:
My son, it is My desire that you come to Me like this. So many times I have told you that I am your strength and without Me nothing will come to fruition. Stay with Me in this time, My son, and I will strengthen you in this battle that you fight for Me for, it is true, you are weak and at the risk of falling; stay with Me until I tell you that you are able to return to this world for you have lost much and much must be regained. I Love you, My little son, I Love you and this is My desire for you. I Love you.
My son, you must always look to the Truth, always look through that that self desires and then you will begin to see My Truth. Self is your enemy and will always try to distort the Truth. The desires of self are always influenced by the trickery of lucifer. This is why I have said, in order to follow Me in truth one needs to die to self. So many try to follow in My Footsteps without dying to self and are led off on many different paths that are not of Me. This is what is happening now in the times that you live in, so many of My children are following a path that does not lead to Me but leads to their eventual destruction. This is why you hear so many distorting My Truth into truth that is only lies and darkness, so many are being deceived by the lies and desires of self. In these Words that I speak I will show My children how it is so easy to become deceived by the desires of self for this is what lucifer works upon.
My Path is a straight one; it has been laid down by Me so that mankind can follow in My Truth. If you are not willing to follow in My Footsteps then you are not willing to follow the Truth. Truth simply looks to the good of others, even should that mean the downfall of one’s self. Look where My Path led, it led Me to Calvary where I gave All of Myself so that all mankind could have Eternal Life with Me in My Father’s Kingdom. If you are not willing to give up your life then you are not willing to follow Me in Truth. When you step upon this Path, nothing matters except the desire to bring souls to your God for when you begin to see clearly then you begin to realise that this life that you lead upon this earth matters little for true life begins when you enter My Kingdom. I have shown you this in many different ways through My Apostles and My Saints.
Do not look to self and what self can gain but look to your God and desire Eternal Life with Him and miracles will become an everyday part of your life. No one upon this earth uses My Power now to the full for they have allowed self to influence them so much that they can no longer see the true Path that leads to the Kingdom of their God. In these Words I mean to explain the ways of dying to self and the ways of seeing My Truth, how to overcome the desires of self, to see through the blindness that self can instil in each of My children. I will show you how to break free and begin to see the Truth of your God. I will explain and show you the joys that await you in My Father’s Kingdom, you shall feel these and know them within your heart as you read these Words. My Way is Love, children, and I will show you My Love as I have shown you so many times in the past. My only desire is that you be with Me in My Father’s Kingdom where We shall be Love and One in all things. So little time is left before the Great Tribulation where all mankind shall know and see the Power of their God, that that has been forgotten shall be seen and mankind will beat their breasts for their blindness.
In these Words, I will prepare you for this time so that it will be a time of great joy and celebration for you and you shall rejoice as you see the Hand of your God touch this earth. The Justice of your God is Holy and so not to be feared by those who live in the Truth. For those that live in My Truth shall never know the Justice of their God for, instead of Justice, they shall feel the Love and Compassion of their God. I will never desert you, My children, I will never forget you, I have told you that I would never leave you orphans for I will bring this earth back to the former beauty that I created. Know this, My little children, the Love of your God surrounds you, life on this earth cannot exist without My Spirit. I am your Lifeblood, I am what runs through your veins. When you love your neighbour, you love Me, your God, for I am within all creation. When you look at the rich man I am there, when you look at the poor man I am there, when you look at the wounded man I am there, when you look at the evildoers I am there, I am within all of creation. Remember these Words:
40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” Matthew 10:40-42
I must Suffer the sorrows of all creation for I cannot turn My Back upon anyone, I must Suffer the pain of all sin for I am there as each sin is committed and must endure all that mankind throws at Me. My Path is straight, children, and it awaits your footsteps upon it for the joys that await you can never be explained in human words. Come with Me upon this journey and let Me show you the Truth of your God. I Love you.
Patrick:
Jesus, I know how very strong self can be, I understand fully what You meant when You said
41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into all temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41
So many times in the past I have thought to myself, I will fight all temptation and I will overcome the sins that I have on my Confession’s list but, each time that I returned to Confession, they were there again and each time I would say the same thing and go out with an earnest heart, fully prepared to beat them but before I would know it I would have committed the same sin and be wondering how I let myself fall into its clutches again. I can only speak for myself for I am a weak sinner so much wanting to overcome that that offends You, my God, never truly winning the battle. Please, Jesus, show me and Your children why we are so weak when it comes to overcoming the temptations of self and lucifer.
Jesus:
It is simple, My son, you must always be on your guard avoiding all occasions of sin. Both you and My children many times allow yourselves to be drawn in to occasions of sin but all the time thinking that you are strong enough to overcome these and so you fall. The first thing that you must do is, look at the greater of your sins and see when the sins are committed. Look for your greatest times of weakness and avoid these, do not allow self to tell you otherwise for self is your enemy and will always try to convince you that you are strong enough to enter these situations. I have told you of the first thought, all sin begins as a seed in your thoughts and it is up to you whether you fertilise and irrigate the seed. Guard your thoughts and do not allow them to control you for thoughts many times contain the inspirations of lucifer. If a thought enters your mind which you know will lead to sin then discard that thought immediately, not allowing it a foothold. The more that you do this the stronger you will become and the more your eyes will open as the scales of blindness fall away. I am your Strength and the more that you come to Me in prayer, the easier this battle will become for the desires of self will cease to matter, as you build the walls of holiness.
Patrick:
I know what You are saying, Jesus, but it seems to be becoming more difficult. I can remember a few years ago I found it much simpler to overcome the desires of self but now I find it very difficult, it just seems to sneak in and it seems to me I can be sitting in the middle of impure thoughts, anger, complacency, judgements, the list is endless, without noticing. No matter how hard I try to fight, it seems to sneak in and catch me out, a simple innocent conversation can end up in judgement of others even though I have been watching.
Jesus:
My son, it is true that this happens many times to all My children, remember the desires of self are strong especially now in these times that you live in. Self always enjoys gossip, criticism and immoral thoughts, this is why I say you must always be on your guard not just when you decide to try and be holy. The more that you fight against self, the less control self will have for it is true to say that most of all My children fight for part of the day and allow self to control the other part, which drains the strength that you have already gained so it is not a progression of dying to self but it is stagnant, never moving. When you decide to fight it must be a total commitment to overcome that that is not of Me and in this commitment you will gain control over self and self will fade into the background.
Patrick:
Yes, Jesus, I have to say I can really recognise this and it explains a lot to me. I am trying to be with You all day doing Your Work but when the evening comes I go home and watch TV and get lost in things that are definitely not of You, for instance, watching documentaries of say, someone who has been murdered, raped, deceived or robbed which brings up feelings of anger and retribution in my heart and the desire for retribution, hoping that they get caught or worse. I find myself sitting thinking not very Christian thoughts.
The television fills our thoughts with sex or sexual innuendos for even the advertisements are filled with naked or half naked people and there is always a sexual innuendo. I could sit for hours watching programmes and never think of You, or get involved in conversations with friends, family or neighbours that are simply gossip or judgement of things that I have watched on the News or in some other programme. The next day I wonder why I’m plagued with thoughts that are not of You and are not easy to fight. I think I can begin to see, I gain Your Strength in one hand and give it away with the other and then wonder why I am not becoming stronger.
How blind we are, Jesus, on this earth, these things you have already told us in Your Scriptures but we never seem to comprehend.
People look at me and Patrick and other Messengers and think it must be so easy for us because we receive Messages but, I can tell you, I am a total disaster. Your children look at me and think I am so holy and I look at them and think that I wish I could have their faith and holiness. I suppose it is the old saying, the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence.
I know I am talking to You like this and wondering will I change because of what You are telling me or will I go home and do the same things all over again. I know You have explained so many things to me in the past and I have understood and done what You have told me for a short while and then drifted back into my old ways, which goes back to “The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Discipline
Chapter: 2
Jesus:
It is simple, My son, you must discipline the body in order to overcome all things that are not of Me. Without discipline you will fail for the calls of the world will draw you back into it. I have told you this with My Scriptures when I said,
24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honour. John 12:24-26
You must look at each thing within your life that is not of Me and start with the greater; disciplining the body and the mind, removing the desires for such things. Each thing that you do for Me you must fight against the temptations of the evil one for he will try to draw you away from your goal. Remember, contrary to what this world believes you are in a spiritual battle. When you follow Me the evil one and his minions are waiting their opportunity to pull you down and away from Me. So many have set out upon this Path and fallen because of lack of discipline. Each day you should decide in prayer what you will do, fulfil this no matter what comes against you, do not allow anyone to draw you away from My Path. I am the Lord, your God, and your desires should be for Me, not for this world and what it can offer you. So many are afraid of offending the people of this world by their actions, so in order not to offend people, they offend their God, which breaks the first Commandment, “First, I am the Lord, your God, you shall have no strange gods before Me.” Look at My priests, they fear to offend My people so they change My Scriptures in order that no one be offended. I am forgotten!
Patrick:
Jesus, I know it must be so hard for You when You see so many of us on this earth deserting You and ceasing to believe in Your Ways. It must be particularly hard when You see Your priests turning away from Your Laws and teaching things that are not of You. It is not hard to see that all discipline has broken down within Your Church. The Holy Father (John Paul II) or a bishop would say something good and holy and the rest of the church would disagree because it would not suit our selfish lifestyle. Even in society all discipline has broken down, people are afraid to walk the streets at night because of the evil. When discipline was removed from the schools and then from the homes, all seemed to fall apart, everyone has become afraid and You are something to be laughed at and derided as being old-fashioned.
Jesus:
My Mother and I have told you of these things that would come to pass. The great falling away has begun and mankind is falling headlong into a disaster created by his own free will. Look around you, it is true that all discipline has been forgotten, mankind has become a barbaric race only thinking of himself and not the good of others. Even those that have tried to stay with Me have become a selfish people not looking to the good of their neighbour, not loving their neighbour but rather loving themselves. It is time to wake up, My people, and see the Truth that I speak with these Words. There is little time left and so much Work to be done, the harvest is great but the labourers are few. I am asking all of you to help Me in this Work of Mine. Iprepare you for what is to come, I prepare too, My Houses of Prayer so that there will be little beacons of Light within each country to fulfil My Work for many will come looking for Me in the ‘Times of Tribulation’ and you, My children, must be prepared to help them. So little time and so much to do, you have wasted so much of your time in futile things. I Love you.
Saturday 30 August 2008
My servant, I Love you. I am the Word, hear Me. I am in God and with God. I am the Word of God. The Word is like the seed of the Promise of God that springs into Life where it is planted. Water the seed that is within you and let it grow into abundant fruit. Love is like Truth. It must be tended and watered like the seeds. Love and Truth must be lived, they cannot sit idle. Love must be given and lived in every circumstance. Many do not know this and fail to practice it. Teach all to Love for the Word is Love.
Truth is to be lived. I am the Truth, live Me. When the Truth is planted within you do not let it die. Live the Truth and you will see many things that you have not seen before.
Come, My little children, and see these Words; see them for what they are and not what you can make out of them.
Take Love. Love is a thing that you do; it cannot sit idle. Love must seek out those who do not know. The Love in you must not rest while someone is to be Loved. Is this not about Love?
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy Angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’
40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand,’ Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 25:31-46
Here, Jesus speaks of the self-less Love that we must have. The reading is not a threat but it is a teaching on HOW to Love and how to practice it. Jesus seems to be saying that Love is a lifelong commitment; it cannot be set down and picked up again at will. He calls us to give Love the priority in our lives for, surely, it is Love that we do when we feed the hungry. Love is not just doing Love when it comes in front of us and we have no choice. No, it is like Mother Teresa. She left everything and went out to Love. We, too, can find ways to Love by changing our lives and using the time that we now spend in selfish pursuits to bring Love to others. This Message is a call to Love, to be in Truth and to spread that Love in Truth for there are many who do not know that there is GOOD NEWS.
Thursday 7 August 2008
Jesus:
My children, look to Love. Look to the Ways of Love and let Me show you the True Path that leads to My Heart. I Love you and I expect all My followers to do as I do.
Love all that you meet no matter who they are and what they have done. Do not judge them! Simply love them in My Name for I am your God; I am Love. Love Me in this Way! I Love you.
Patrick:
Thank You, Jesus, I love You.
Jeremiah 20:7-9
You have seduced me, Lord, and I have let myself be seduced;
You have overpowered me:
You were the stronger.
I am a daily laughing-stock,
Everybody’s butt.
Each time I speak the word,
I have to howl and proclaim:
‘Violence and ruin!’
The Word of the Lord has meant for me insult, derision, all day long.
I used to say I will not think about him,
I will not speak in his name anymore.
Then there seemed to be a fire burning in my heart,
Imprisoned in my bones.
The effort to restrain it wearied me,
I could not bear it.

Feast of Saint Teresa Benedicta of The Cross
The Day of Prayer began with our usual Community Prayers. A servant spoke on the life of this great Saint, formerly named Edith Stein and how she was brought on her journey of conversion from a Jew to becoming a Carmelite nun. Saint Teresa of Avila’s autobiography touched her heart deeply and affected her greatly. Throughout the day our hearts and minds focused on her road to saintliness and the example she has given to the world. We prayed and asked for Saint Teresa Benedicta’s intercession for the needs of the House. A servant read extracts from her autobiography and showed how Jesus, through the Messages of Love, requested Feast Days of prayer in honour of His Saints. They continued saying if the Saints were present with us they would not want to be spoken of or given any kind of glory. They would tell us to talk about their Lord and Master, Jesus, whom they gave their lives for.
At the 6 pm prayers another servant picked out different extracts from Saint Teresa Benedicta’s autobiography that spoke to the heart.
“...This was my first encounter with the Cross and the divine power it imparts to those who bear it ... it was the moment when my unbelief collapsed and Christ began to shine His Light on me - Christ in the mystery of the Cross...”
...One evening Edith picked up an autobiography of Saint Teresa of Avila and read this book all night. “When I had finished the book, I said to myself: This is the truth.” Later, looking back on her life, she wrote: “My longing for truth was a single prayer.”
Pope John Paul II, who beatified Edith Stein in Cologne on 1 May 1987, described her as “...an outstanding daughter of Israel and at the same time a daughter of the Carmelite Order, Sister Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, a personality who united within her rich life a dramatic synthesis of our century. It was the synthesis of a history full of deep wounds that are still hurting ... and also the synthesis of the full truth about man. All this came together in a single heart that remained restless and unfulfilled until it finally found rest in God.”
Feast of the Assumption Friday 15 August 2008
Message: “…I thank you for the honour that you have given to Me this Day. This is the Day in which I was taken up to Heaven…”
On this, the Feast of the Assumption, through the Messages of Love Jesus requested it be a Day of Prayer in the fight against abortion. We remembered all the little babies murdered by abortion, particularly those who were being murdered on His Mother’s Feast Day.
A statue of Mary Patron of the Aborted was brought to the front of the Prayer Room and a vase of golden roses placed by the statue for all the little aborted babies.
The day began with the usual 12 o’clock Community Prayers. A servant led the singing, giving glory to Jesus and honour to Our Lady. He sang “Never felt the Wind,” the song given by Jesus for His little aborted babies. A friend of the House spoke of Gods Will. How Mary our Mother said “Yes” to Gods Will and how Mary trusted. We are all concerned about our families but if we entrust them to Mary’s care, we can continue unhindered to do what Jesus is asking of us and do His Will.
At the 3 pm prayers a servant spoke on the Message given on 30 June 2008. “…Do not always look to the bad side of My children for this in itself extinguishes Love.” A piece of Scripture from John was read. The Baptism of the Unborn followed as Jesus requested in the Message given on 19 April 1992. “Think today of all the babies who have been Crucified with Me in Love; they are the victims of unlove. They suffer greatly for the sins of their mothers and fathers. This is the Day that they should be thought of, so that they can be loved by you in My Heart. Bring them to Me in Love. Baptise them into My Love; give them to Me in My Love; it is imperative...”
At the 6 pm prayers the Message given on 15 August 1995 at Ardboe Grotto was read. This Shrine is only ten miles from the House of Prayer.
Walk Against Abortion
Saturday 16 August
As we gathered in the yard for the Walk Against Abortion, the rain which had been falling all day just seemed to get heavier but as I looked around and spoke to those waiting to go I felt great excitement from all present. People were just so glad it was raining, it would be that little extra to give to Jesus. There was such joy it was so amazing. Young children and older people, no one was complaining. As we began our walk the Heaven’s opened even more, but my thoughts were that those gathered were so full of Love and dedication for the fight against abortion, it could only have brought a little more joy to Jesus to see this. Someone remarked that the heavy rain could have represented the tears of Jesus and Mary for their little babies.

Vigil
The next First Friday vigil is on Friday 5 September 2008 from 10pm-2am.
Our Lady’s Birthday Monday
8 September 2008
Today we celebrate Mary’s Birthday and it is a day we should treat like any other friend’s birthday: with much celebration. Prayers begin at 12 noon and we might even have a cake for Mary!!! Happy Birthday Mother.
Exhalation and Triumph of the Cross
Sunday 14 September
Prayers begin at 12 noon. Here are some words from John Paul II on this Feast Day from a homily he gave on this Feast Day.
O Crux, ave spes unica! Hail, O Cross, our only hope!
Dear Brothers and Sisters, we are invited to look upon the Cross. It is the “privileged place” where the Love of God is revealed and shown to us... On the Cross human misery and divine mercy meet. The adoration of this unlimited mercy is for man the only way to open himself to the mystery which the Cross reveals.
The Cross is planted in the earth and would seem to extend its roots in human malice, but it reaches up, pointing as it were to the heavens, pointing to the Goodness of God. By means of the Cross of Christ, the evil one has been defeated, death is overcome, life is given to us, hope is restored, light is imparted. O Crux, ave spes unica! …
“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life” (John 3:14-15) , says Jesus. What do we see then when we bring our eyes to bear on the Cross where Jesus was nailed (cf. John 19:37)? We contemplate the sign of Gods infinite Love for humanity.
O Crux, ave spes unica! Saint Paul speaks of the same theme in the letter to the Ephesians…. Not only did Christ Jesus become man, in everything similar to human beings, but He took on the condition of a servant and humbled Himself even more by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross (cf. Philippians 2:6-8).
Yes, “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son” (John 3:16) .
We admire - overwhelmed and gratified - the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ which surpasses all knowledge (cf. Ephesians 3:18-19)
O Crux, ave spes unica!…
Through the mystery of your Cross and your Resurrection, save us, O Lord! Amen
Pope John Paul II - Excerpts from homily September 14, 2003
Feast of Saint Pio
Tuesday 23 September 2008
This day we will celebrate the life of one of the greatest modern day Saints. This harsh but fair Italian priest is renowned for his battle against self. The Messages he has given through the two Patricks teach us so much on this subject. Prayers begin at 12 noon.
Message from Padre Pio. My little brothers and sisters, you look to many Saints but you do not see the reality of what you are seeking. You do not see the total resources of what was given. In the life of a Saint there were many things. There was the constant battle against self. This was not all but it was the greater part. To begin to die to self you must first look at your life in God and outside God then your journey will begin. You must work upon merging both, so that there is no life but only that in God.
You must begin to see all things through the Eyes of our Most Loving Master, Jesus. To look at your brothers and sisters and see them in the image of God; not to reject anyone nor do harm in any way both spiritual or physical.
This is your aim in life that you must seek. This is the beginning of dying to self. To realise that we are nothing but to realise that everyone is greater than I, myself, ever can be. To Love… Friday 1 October 1999
Feast of the Archangels
Monday 29 September 2008
The Archangels are the great servants of God, and as we know, each has a particular vital role like Gabriel being the Messenger and Michael being the warrior. Their creation is described in the Song of the Carpenter and is a wondrous image of Gods greatness. We hold this Day of Prayer to continue to ask them for their help in these dark times and to thank them for the help already given. Prayers begin at 12 noon.
October 2008
Also, dates for your diary: the Feast of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus on Wednesday 1 October. On this Day we will celebrate the life of the ‘little flower’ who is one of the Patrons of the Sacred Heart House of Prayer. She has an important place in the hearts of us all in the House. Prayers begin at 12 noon.
Feast of the Guardian Angels
Thursday 2 October. Prayers will begin at 12 noon.
Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi , Saturday 4 October. Saint Francis is another Saint that we hold dear to our hearts here in the House. Francis was given the task of rebuilding Jesus’ Church in a time of great danger for the Church. Prayers begin at 12 noon.
Please note, the House of Prayer will be closed on Sunday 5 October for a private retreat for Habit members.

What is the meaning of life?
In the Catechism of the Catholic Faith, we learn that it was God who made us and the reason He did so was ‘to know Him, to love Him and to serve Him in this life and to be happy with Him forever in the next.’ This goes for all Gods children whether Catholic or not. It is the answer to the question so many people ask: ‘What is the meaning of life?’
This tells us that our lives are not for selfish means, pleasures or gaining what we can by ambition, wealth or knowledge etc. but to live for Him in His Way so that we can gain eternal happiness in Heaven. The whole purpose of life then is to live for God by serving and loving Him and others so that we can inherit Eternal Life. Jesus said in Scripture that the two most important Commandments were to love God with all our hearts, mind, strength and will and our neighbour as ourselves. He also left us with the Commandment to ‘love one another as I have Loved you.’
I loved myself
In the Messages of Love Jesus asks us to show Him that we love Him by the way we live our lives. If we live only for ourselves then how are we showing Jesus love? I often wondered in the past what He meant by loving our neighbour as ourselves as I didn’t feel much love for myself anyway. When I contemplated this I realised I loved myself by taking care of myself and my basic needs both physically and spiritually. I had enough food to eat, enough water to drink, enough clothes to wear, a warm comfortable bed to sleep in and a safe home to live in and of course a lot more.
Freely give
I also know Jesus and His great Love for me and each one of us. I can go to Him in prayer at any time for comfort or help in any situation, I can ask Forgiveness when I do wrong and trust in His infinite Mercy. My eyes were opened, who am I that can enjoy all these benefits while there are people in the world with none of these things I have? Jesus said ‘you have been given freely now you freely give.’
We all want to get to Heaven but unfortunately not all people make it. We make the mistake of thinking we are ok, we do no harm to anyone, keep the Commandments etc. but do we? In order to find out the answer to this question, we must not only read the Commandments but look deeper at them to find their meaning.
The ten Commandments
In case you have forgotten the ten Commandments are:
1. I am the Lord thy God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt not have strange gods before Me. Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in Heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth, thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them.
2. Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that shall take the Name of the Lord his God in vain.
3. Remember that thou keep Holy the Sabbath day.
4. Honour thy father and thy mother.
5. Thou shalt not kill.
6. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
7. Thou shalt not steal
8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours wife.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours goods.
Many false gods
Take the first Commandment, do we put God first in our lives? Is TV, wealth, ambition, work, leisure, fashion or food more important than God? How much time do we give to God and how much time do we give to all these other things of the world? We have many false gods e.g. a TV often takes pride of place in our homes and much of our time whilst also filling us with the ways of the evil one, persuading us that bad is good and sin is acceptable.
This Commandment also forbids all dealing with the devil and superstitious practices, such as consulting spiritualists and fortune tellers, and trusting in charms, dreams, omens and the like.
Breaking the second Commandment seems to be a regular occurrence these days. Often when people get angry they say Jesus Christ! or God Almighty! The best one I heard was when a little boy was being interviewed on the radio at Christmas time and he asked the interviewer why did they call Jesus after a swear word! Blaspheming and taking Gods Name in vain has become an acceptable part of our lives.
Two masters
Do we keep the Sabbath day holy or do we use it as an extra day to earn money, shop or just entertain ourselves with worldly pleasures? As Catholics we are obliged to attend Holy Mass on Sundays but just because we do this does not mean we are entitled to get to Heaven. We must use the Graces given to us at Mass to serve God and Love our neighbour. We cannot attend Mass fulfilling our obligation and then live a life of sin. As Jesus has said ‘You cannot have two masters.’
How do we treat our parents? Do we give them the respect they deserve? Are they a burden to us? We are bound by the fourth Commandment to love, revere and obey our parents in all that is not sin and assist them in both their temporal and spiritual needs. It also forbids all contempt, stubbornness and disobedience to our parents and lawful superiors. Parents also have a duty to their children under this Commandment and that is to provide for them, instruct and correct them and to give them a good Catholic education.
A danger to the soul
The fifth Commandment forbids us to kill. Most of us would not go out and murder anyone but do we realise that abortion and euthanasia are also murder? Even if we help another to or agree with abortion or euthanasia we are guilty of the sin.
Anger, hatred and revenge are forbidden by this one also fighting, quarrelling, injurious words, scandal and bad example. Jesus said in Scripture if you are angry with your brother you are in danger of hell fire!
Adultery is a sin of impurity with another’s wife or husband however, the sixth Commandment also forbids anything contrary to holy purity in looks, words or actions. Also forbidden is looking at immodest plays, films and dances (music shows are full of them!) and immodest songs, books and pictures which are a danger to the soul as they can lead to mortal sin.
Cheating in buying or selling
Stealing is a sin that many people do without even realising. Taking what belongs to another and not giving it back is the obvious one but also cheating in buying or selling, accepting stolen goods, not paying our debts and being dishonest in work by wasting the employer’s time or property. Another example of this sin would be claiming benefits from the Government that we are not entitled to.
How truthful are we
The eighth Commandment forbids lying, false testimony and rash judgement. How often do we tear a person’s character down with our words? How truthful are we in our day to day life? We need to sit down and contemplate this one and try to make amends. When we come face to face with Jesus who is the Truth we will not be able to lie to Him. He tells us ‘The Truth will set you free.’
Jesus said even if we look at another with lust in our hearts we are guilty of the sin. The ninth Commandment forbids all wilful consent to impure thoughts and desires and all wilful pleasure in the irregular motions of the flesh. A greater effort is needed in self will to avoid looking at sexual images, TV programmes and reading adult books and magazines to reduce the temptations that lead to the sins of the flesh.
The results of the sins
I feel sorry for the youth of today because from a very early age now they are subjected to all kinds of sexual images, fashion and behaviour. The world has brainwashed us into believing these things are ok, a bit of harmless fun, just natural etc. But you can see the results of the sins of the flesh by the increase in teenage pregnancies, abortion and sexually transmitted diseases.
Avoid sin
What our neighbour has is his own. Often we desire what someone else has. e.g. money, material goods, intelligence, looks etc. This can lead to covetous thoughts, envy etc. We should be happy with what we have and happy for our neighbour to have what he has. Jesus said ‘what good will it be to gain the whole world and to lose your soul?’
God has given us the ten Commandments for our protection and for the well being of our body, mind and soul. You can see the result of sin in the world by the darkness and unhappiness it brings. The Commandments are just as important now as they were in the past. There is a lot more to keeping the ten Commandments than we think and a greater daily effort is needed to avoid sin. Jesus said if we followed the two greatest Commandments of Loving God and our neighbour then we would automatically be keeping the rest.

Prayer to Jesus of Divine Mercy
Dear Jesus of Divine Mercy, I believe in You, I trust You and I love You.
You displayed your Endless Love for the entire human family when You shed Your Most Precious Blood in torturous Suffering, and ignominious Death, on the Cross at Calvary. Through this Supreme Sacrifice You Redeemed every man, woman and child from the slavery of sin.
In Your Infinite Divine Mercy and through the intercession of Mary, Your Most Blessed Mother, Your faithful servant, Saint Faustina, and all the Saints, grant that, before it is too late, we sinners will be inspired to reject the evils of the world, the flesh and the devil and embrace You as our Loving Saviour.
I humbly beseech You to Forgive our past sinfulness, protect us from future sinfulness and preserve us forever in Your Friendship, so that each and every one of us may share Eternal Life with You in the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.

Jesus needs our help
We should respond
Jesus needs our help and our love and if we do love Him and believe in Him and His Messages then we should respond to His call and say yes to His request for help to man one of His Houses especially as it is one of His Dreams to have all of His Houses open.
Yes, it is a bit difficult to drop everything and go to Him but that is so little compared to what He is doing for us and we all know what that is very well!!! So it is about time that we, His children, show Him our love and say yes to His call.
So here I am again in Soledad House of Prayer and having the opportunity that I didn’t have at home, keeping my daily prayer time at the right time, i.e. 8 am, 12 am, 3 pm, 6 pm, etc, and be able to offer Jesus quality time to die to myself and be able to appease His Heart.
It was for Jesus
At first the thought of travelling on my own was a bit worrying especially when I found out that I had to change planes at Valencia, then get one to the one to go to Santander. I would have never done it on my own in a million years but it was for Jesus so I took the plunge and went. But Jesus took away my fear and helped me all the way when I got to Santander airport. Agatha, a lovely lady, a servant from Cookstown was waiting for me and with her was Joan who had come for two weeks to retreat. When we met we were so excited to be together at last. We had a cup of tea then made our way to the House. When we got to the House we went to the Prayer Room to thank Jesus for our safe journey etc.
Father Rolando
The next day when we went to Mass we met our local friends from the village and they gave us a lovely welcome. Also, Father Rolando came after Mass and had a nice chat with us and offered us a lift to Garabandal for Mass on the days that he did not say Mass in Cosío. He is a lovely priest, very spiritual and his Masses are very fulfilling. You can tell he is living the miracle that is happening at the altar and one can feel and be part of the precious moment. We could do with more priests like him who takes so much care and love over the Mass.
Thank You, Jesus
The time in Soledad is really very special because we are dedicating our time to Jesus and Mary, i.e. doing His Will at all times. No TV etc. Just being there to appease His Pain and being obedient to His call.
Thank You, Jesus, for giving me the opportunity, strength, confidence, plus all the Blessings and Graces and Gifts that we received while being with You. Thank You, Jesus, thank You, Mary. I love You with all my heart and soul. Your loving daughter, Elizabeth.

A community spirit
Family of Christ
For the month of June I experienced the privilege of manning the House of Prayer in L’Absie for the second year running. When I found out I was going again in August I felt pleased and at ease as I have always enjoyed L’Absie and the people there. Although I didn’t know the lady I was going with we were both assured that there are ‘no strangers in the family of Christ’ so there would be no problems there. We were blessed to have Mass almost every day in the Abbey which is a few minutes walk away. The Abbey dates back to the fifteenth century with frescos on the wall dating back to the same era. On the outside it stands beautiful and strong in appearance but inside the damp is taking its toll. The plaster on the walls is slowly crumbling off. Another thing that often surprised me about the Abbey was that very often it was dusty with lots of cobwebs.
Pleased to help
When we saw a notice in the bulletin asking for volunteers to help to clean the Abbey for the Feast of the Assumption, we were more than pleased to help. It was a large task but many parishioners came together in admirable community spirit and got through the work swiftly and in joyous anticipation of the upcoming Feast. The Assumption of Our Lady is a big Feast Day in France and a national holiday. The entertainment hall was decorated in lights in celebration. The town was livelier than ever and the best thing of all was the great crowd of people present at Mass who celebrated the Mass with such pride and heartfelt songs.
Many visitors
We were overjoyed to receive two retreatants from Northern France who stayed with us also that weekend. They had heard about the House of Prayer on the internet and were dying to come down for a visit. That same Saturday we had also invited some of the locals to the House of Prayer so it meant that we ended up with a lovely little gathering that afternoon where lots of things of God were shared between practising Catholics and people not practising any faith. We asked Jesus to Bless in a special way all of our visitors and retreatants.
Received Blessings
Both myself and my companion feel the Blessings we have both received from giving this time to Jesus ourselves. It seems every time I come here He has something key and essential to teach me to keep me safe and strong on this journey. So once again I thank Him for the privilege of manning Saint Maximilian Kolbe House of Prayer in France. Thank You, Lord.

Uphold the rights of the unborn
A huge issue
On November 4, 2008 the people of America will be voting for a new President of the United States. We will be choosing the Presidential candidate of our choice. We enjoy and are entitled to that particular freedom of choice. But do we really know where the candidates stand on the most important issues? A huge issue is Abortion.
Presidential candidate Barack Obama has captured the heart of America with his platform on “change” which in itself can and should be a good thing. But not all of his calls for “change” can be considered a “good thing.” He stated on national television that his first priority as President of the United States will be the issue of abortion. Please be advised of where he stands.
Deception
The following is taken from a letter by Dr Wanda Franz, President of National Right to Life to Barack Obama who amazingly claimed in a June 1 newspaper article: “I am not pro-abortion.” His claim flies in the face of every official voting record in his career in the Illinois Senate and the U.S. Senate. His stunning assertion is arguably the grandest deception yet in this campaign and cries out for an answer.
Unspeakable brutality
To expose this and other such deceptions, I offer the following open letter to Barack Obama.
Mr. Obama, campaigning in the pro-life State of South Dakota last month, you shocked and surprised a lot of people when you claimed “I am not pro-abortion.” As an American citizen who works tirelessly to stop the violence against unborn children, I have a right to ask a few questions:
If you are not pro-abortion, Mr. Obama, why did you tell a very different audience at the annual Planned Parenthood convention that your first act as President would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act?
If you are not pro-abortion, why did you vote in the Illinois Senate against protecting babies who were nearly born from the unspeakable brutality of partial-birth abortion?
If you are not pro-abortion, Mr. Obama, how could you have voted against, and are recorded as the only Illinois State Senator to argue on the floor against, a bill that would protect often-healthy, living children who were born alive after surviving an abortion?
Kills thousands
If you are not pro-abortion, why did you suggest that abortion had to be legal so mothers would not be “punished with a baby?”
If you are not pro-abortion, why did you vote to force those of us who love life to have our tax dollars taken and used to kill innocent unborn children?
Why, if you’re not pro-abortion, do you vote to deny parents the right to know if this terrible procedure – an abortion – is being done on their daughter? Why do you want to give money to groups that try to force pro-abortion laws on pro-life nations overseas? Why do you support taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood, a group that kills almost three hundred thousand unborn babies each year? Why?
No compassion
Mr. Obama, you claim to be running a different kind of campaign in 2008. I certainly agree that your campaign is “different” when it comes to the paramount issue of the Right to Life for innocent human beings.
Yes, the record shows that your campaign is “different” from even the most pro-abortion candidates of the past – Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, and John Kerry. Even they did not have a record of voting to leave healthy survivors of abortion to die somewhere on a cold hospital table without any compassionate treatment whatsoever. Even they are not recorded as taking the lead in arguing on the floor of a legislature, as you did, stating that the law should not give these babies the same right to treatment that every other born child has.
If that’s not “pro-abortion,” Mr. Obama, then the phrase has no meaning whatsoever.
Maybe that’s how you hope to win – to make important issues, like whether a baby has a right to his or her own life, into a meaningless rhetorical game, where you say one thing in a pro-life place like South Dakota and another thing to an audience at Planned Parenthood.
Time to change
Another prominent voice in the position of the Presidential candidates on the issue of abortion is that of the Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Carl Anderson. “We have all heard a great deal this year about the need for change. But at the same time we are told one thing cannot change, namely the abortion regime of Roe v. Wade. It is time that we demand real change and real change means the end of Roe v. Wade. It is time to stop accommodating pro-abortion politicians, and it’s time we start demanding that they accommodate us. It’s time to put away the arguments of political spin masters that only serve to justify abortion killing.” Mr. Anderson told Catholic News Service that he decided to focus on the same terminology that Mr. Obama is using in his presidential campaign “to get people’s attention.”
Uphold the rights of the unborn
We hope this article will get the attention of all who read this Newsletter and pass it on to all their friends, so that all voters may reflect deeply upon their obligation to uphold the rights of the unborn. Pray that we will get good leaders. Pray to stop abortion!
...This is how the great crime of abortion is allowed to run so freely in the lives of man. They murder their own offspring and refuse to see the Truth. They tell themselves that they do nothing wrong but all the time they do know. In other words, they tell themselves lies and this is in all walks of life... Saint Michael to Patrick, Wednesday 24 June 1998.

It came about through John Paul
He clung so hard to the Truth
When I think of Poland I think of Pope John Paul II, my favourite person ever. I remember watching a DVD on John Paul II visit to Ireland and I simply fell in love with the man. I could just imagine him asking Jesus for a House of Prayer in Poland in childlike boldness and I loved him even more for it.
Jesus spoke so highly of John Paul II, repeatedly, in our Messages when he was alive and continuously revealed glimpses of his pain and suffering, as he clung so hard to the Truth against so much opposition in the Church. I believe Jesus talked so much about him to encourage our prayers and sacrifices for this stalwart Saint. He is truly our greatest hero in these times.
And to think that we would be going to man Saint Stanislaus House of Prayer, which came about all because of John Paul II, made me feel really excited.
“...To go to My country of Poland, is a sacrifice for, your Holy Father (John Paul II) has asked this of Me here in Heaven. His dedication to this country has led the way for its conversion back to Me. I give you the task of finishing that request with Me as your Head. You must carry a picture of him when you go to this country.” Monday 23 January 2006
Poverty
Poland for me was a great eye opener to poverty. I didn’t see any luxuries.
Having said that, I had the pleasure of sampling a few meals cooked for us by a neighbour and I can safely say Polish food is the best food I have ever tasted! Beetroot soup, cabbage soup, gherkin soup and stuffed cabbage! In Poland, I noticed a sadness in the people, quite like a burden and, sadly, there are a lot of alcoholics.
Stay there comfortably
I had only ever manned Soledad in Spain before and when I saw the size of Saint Stanislaus House I was so pleased because many people will be able to stay there comfortably during the pilgrimage. It is a lovely big House and the locals have so much interest in it as it was their old school. I can see why so many of the servants love manning it because there’s so much to do there, there’s the garden to mow and take care of and so much maintenance, decorating and cleaning to be done inside the House – you are kept really busy. There’s space for all of us to get stuck into the work and place our love for Jesus in the House.
The roof will need re-tiled and there were lots of leaks in the roof above the bathroom unfortunately.
Prayer, work and our love
It was lovely to be there and on so many occasions I felt such joy. We are slowly building relations in the village of Wierzchoslawice. I believe Jesus can do a lot with the sacrifice of leaving everything for a month and manning a House of Prayer and with our offerings of prayer, work and our love whilst there. I hope He will be able to bring many to His Side. The mission of this House is to pray for those who are communist, that they receive the Graces necessary for conversion and I hope that we in the Way of the Sacred Heart will have enough love in our hearts to set the whole country on fire with the Love of God, heal the hurts and let many see Jesus.

Manning Saint Nikolaus
The journey
Myself and Sonja were asked to go to Saint Nikolaus House of Prayer for the month of July. We left Stansted on Monday 7 July and landed in Altenburg airport at 12:45pm. Neither of us can speak the language so we depended on Jesus’ guidance all the way.
We got a coach outside the airport that took us to Leipzig and got a bus from there to Colditz. It took us a long time to get there but we talked to others on the bus that could speak English. The scenery is beautiful.
Arriving at Saint Nikolaus’
We got to Saint Nikolaus’ at 4:45pm. It was lovely to go in the door and feel the Love of Jesus. We went into the Prayer Room and felt at home. All of the Houses seem to have the same feeling of Love and welcome. After a cup of coffee we said the 6 o’ clock prayers and we got some food in and checked around what we would need. We made up the beds and checked all doors and windows. We were very tired and glad to get to bed.
Big attraction!
Tuesday we were up early and went out to find shops and got all we needed. We soon realised Sonja was a big attraction to the locals. She was the only black person there and got a lot of attention. Helga lives a few doors down from the House and she made us very welcome and fussed over Sonja. She told us, in bits of English, her daughter is married to a Nigerian in London and has three grandchildren. She is a very friendly person and is always smiling.
Friends
Most days, our dear friend Ursula called and gave us advice and information that was very helpful. She has some English and we understood most of what she told us. Sometimes we got it wrong but it was ok. It is a very quiet little village and not many people are seen after 6pm. We had a lot of visitors but only Ursula ever came for prayers.
Community spirit
Sonja and I went to the little church to join the prayer group on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 8am. We read the readings and sang the hymns but we had little idea of what we were saying! We said the Our Father in English. They are friendly and Ursula helped us through the communication. We had Mass on a Sunday at 10:15 and Thursday evening at 6pm.
We walked a lot and the weather was like at home, good days and wet and windy days, also thunder and lightening. We went to a mental hospital to visit a lady and one of the patients felt sorry for Sonja. He thought she got too much sun! We had a laugh at lots of the things that we met with. I dont think that they had ever seen a black person before. Some of them wanted to touch her and feel her hair. She took it all very well and coped with the attention she received.
Learned a lot
We both learned a lot in the month we were there but could not have done it without Jesus being with us wherever we went. It is not easy when you don’t have the language. I always ask Saint Michael for help and each place we went there was a Michael who had enough English to help us. Even the Italian neighbour who took us to the airport and made a lovely meal for us the night before we left is called Michael! It was good to see Seamus and Roland before we left.

As you know, Jesus has many Houses of Prayer and all of these need repairs and renovations done to them. The in most need of repair at this time is Saint Stanislaus in Poland. This is a very large and beautiful House but the roof is in bad shape and needs a new one. The cost of this new roof would be £25,000 and we appeal to you, our readers, to help us raise this money. We ask you to help in any way you can, either financially or with prayer. In return we offer you our prayers and grateful thanks for all that you do to help. Jesus has set up these Houses for the future for when they are needed in the times to come. Thank you in advance for any help you may give us.

UPDATE: Since this appeal, unfortunately part of the bathroom ceiling has collapsed. Presently we are researching the cheapest way to repair this. We ask for your continued prayers.
Thank you.

With Love from God
Read this, not skipping any parts, and try not to cry.
Cancer
She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: ‘How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?’ The surgeon said, ‘I’m sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn’t make it.’ Sally said, ‘Why do little children get cancer? Doesn’t God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?’ The surgeon asked, ‘Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he’s transported to the university.’
Heart of gold
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said goodbye to her son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. ‘Would you like a lock of his hair?’ The nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy’s hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally. The mother said, ‘It was ]immy’s idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. ‘I said no at first, but ]immy said, ‘Mom, I won’t be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.’ She went on, ‘My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.’
Cried
Sally walked out of Children’s Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy’s belongings on the seat beside her in the car. The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy’s belongings and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son’s room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.
I will always love you
It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said: ‘Dear Mom, I know you’re going to miss me; but don’t think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just ‘cause I’m not around to say I love you.’ I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won’t be so lonely, that’s okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn’t like the same things us boys do. You’ll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don’t be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything.
Sent a letter
The Angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn’t look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God’s knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That’s when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you goodbye and everything. But I already knew that wasn’t allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter, I think Gabriel is the name of the Angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him, where was He when I needed him?’ ‘God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the Cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.
I don’t hurt any more
Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I’ve written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn’t that cool? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I’m sure the food will be great. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don’t hurt any more the cancer is all gone. I’m glad because I couldn’t stand that pain any more and God couldn’t stand to see me hurt so much, either. That’s when He sent the Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?
Signed with Love from God, Jesus and me.

Russian Government holds ‘Week without Abortions’
to Halt Falling Birthrate
Krasnodar Convinces Women to Keep Their Unborn Babies
Officials in southern Russia’s Krasnodar region have come as close to curtailing abortions as any government decree here in nearly five decades. As part of the region’s “Day of Family Love and Happiness” - just one of a whole slew of similar approaches to upping the birthrate across the country - the local Health Department held a “Week without Abortions” this month (July), advising clinics to talk women into keeping their babies. According to official statistics, it worked.
Even though abortion has not been banned in Russia since 1955, local journalists from a Krasnodar television station misinterpreted the decree and claimed that a ban had been issued, sparking a brief debate. But Yelena Redko, deputy head of the local Health Department, assured The Moscow News that it was nothing of the sort.
The hazards of abortion
Instead, the Krasnodar Health Department says, it was trying to educate women.
“Between July 1 and 7, all women’s clinics and family planning centres held a thematic week called ‘Week without Abortions,’” read an official statement obtained by The Moscow News. As such, the week was harmless: women were given “consultations with family planning experts,” posters were placed in clinics and videos were shown “informing about the hazards of abortion.” State-sponsored family planning centres offered hotlines for pregnant women.
Keep their babies
According to Redko, the advice brought results. “During the week, 875 women went to clinics to terminate their pregnancies, but thanks to the efforts of medical personnel (through personal conversations, promotional material, and publications) 338 women were convinced to go through with their pregnancies, which constitutes 38.6 percent,” said the Health Department. Normally, the statement noted, of all the women who went to a clinic for an abortion, only 5-6 percent ended up going through with the pregnancy. A similar programme held in the region in November managed to talk 217 women out of abortions.
Looking for advice
“Of course, if the woman wants to have an abortion, we can’t refuse her,” Yelena Redko told The Moscow News in a telephone statement. “But many women come in for advice.” Asked whether her department was planning to give this kind of advice on a regular basis, Redko said that they would hold the Week without Abortions next year as well but did not elaborate on whether such “talks” would be held with women on a permanent basis.
“If the pregnancy is later in the term and there’s no time to wait with an abortion, of course we do it,” the Gazeta online daily quoted Lyudmila Toporova, a gynaecologist at a local maternity ward, as saying. But if the term is 7-10 weeks and the woman has some time, we ask her to give it some thought. In any case, if the woman insists, we have no right to refuse her.”
